Welcome to Community High School District 155

Welcome, Trojans, Tigers, Gators, & Wolves! We are excited to welcome you to Community High School District 155 and introduce you to traditions like Friday Night Lights, art shows, plays and musicals, school dances, athletics, and so much more! Our students are more successful and feel more connected when they participate in athletics and extracurricular activities. We encourage you to try new activities and meet new people.

Enrollment Information

All new students must complete the New Student Online Enrollment process. Enrollment is separate from selecting courses and includes uploading required proof of residency documents, the student’s birth certificate, and required health information. Please visit the Enrollment Information webpage for more information.

  • Crystal Lake Central is ranked among the best public high schools nationally and in the state of Illinois. Crystal Lake Central opened in 1924 as Crystal Lake Community High School and is the oldest high school in District 155. It serves students from Crystal Lake and Lakewood.

    Prairie Ridge High School

  • Haber Oaks is an alternative learning program serving all high schools in D155, which focuses on restorative and trauma-sensitive approaches to support student success and development. Our classes are taught by special education teachers to best support students whose social, emotional, or behavioral needs require highly supportive and supervised special education services throughout the school day.

Frequently Asked Questions for New Families

  • Students will receive their course schedule during Distribution Day for freshmen. They will also have an opportunity to find their classrooms and tour the school. 

  • Your student’s counselor can assist you with course placement and questions regarding your student’s schedule.

  • Supply lists are not issued for high school students. Students should bring pencils, pens, folders, notebooks, and their district-issued Chromebook on the first day. Individual teachers will provide details if specific items are needed for class. 

  • We encourage you to explore summer camps and visit your school’s athletics website for more information.

  • Bus route information will be available in Skyward before school starts.
