The current set of Incoming Freshmen, the Class of 2027 will begin high school on August 16, 2023. The parents and guardians of 8th grade students who will attend a District 155 school for the 2023-2024 school year are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the information below to support a smooth transition to 9th grade.

High School Enrollment
All incoming freshmen must be enrolled in District 155 and parents are encouraged to complete enrollment no later than December 12, 2022.
All Incoming freshmen must demonstrate proof of residency within District 155. Additionally, enrollment requires that the student’s parent/guardian provide District 155 with a copy of the student's original birth certificate.

Required Health Information
Per State of Illinois regulations, all students entering 9th grade must provide evidence of a current physical examination and up-to-date immunizations. Physical exams must be performed by a medical doctor no more than 12 months before the 1st day of school for 9th grade and be documented using the approved State form. Physical exam forms can be downloaded below:

Sports physicals used to allow participation in school athletic programs and summer camps, do not meet the requirements for a 9th grade physical.
Parents/guardians are encouraged to read the section about Health Information on page 3 of the Incoming Freshman Transition Guide and may contact the school nurse at the high school their child anticipates attending for 9th grade for more information.
