D155 Creative Career Expo

Our goal in District 155 is to provide each student with an opportunity to explore career pathways through our Career Experiences Program (CEP). Nearly 20 percent of our students have identified interests in a variety of creative careers in architecture and design, the arts, advertising and marketing, culinary arts, event planning, fashion, interior design, journalism, music, and public relations. In an effort to foster those interests and inform students about creative careers, D155 will host a Creative Careers Conference on January 28, 2023, at Prairie Ridge High School. This three-hour event will connect students to professionals and companies through a large, hands-on expo, a student panel, and a keynote speaker. Parents & guardians of middle school students
are invited to attend with their students.
