21-22 COVID Information

March 22, 2022 Update: The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) are issuing new guidance, fully adopting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated Guidance for COVID-19 Prevention in K-12 Schools. This new guidance supersedes all prior COVID-19 school guidance documents and applies to all public and nonpublic schools that serve students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 (pre-K-12).

We recognize that in-person learning provides significant advantages and opportunities for our students, and we remain committed to continuing an in-person learning model throughout the 2021-22 school year by maintaining COVID-19 prevention strategies as we continue to follow local, state, and national health guidelines.

The COVID-19 prevention strategies are a critical piece to ensure our students and staff are healthy so we can keep our schools open for in-person learning. It’s important to note that the district is making decisions based on current health data and decisions are subject to change based on mandates, guidance and community spread.
