What is Group?

Group:

Group is a series of meetings with the School Social Worker and/or another certified teacher to aid students in personal issues.  The groups meet once each week (usually during a study hall) at the beginning of the year to help students transition to their new situation. 

For Freshmen in Special Education:

All freshman LR students are expected to attend one of the group sessions for an introductory period of 6 weeks.  At the end of the six weeks, students will be invited to continue the meetings for the remainder of the school year.
