Graduation Information

• The class of 2008 Commencement Program will be held Saturday, May 31st

• Even though spring seems far removed, it’s not too early to start thinking about graduation.  Be assured that your seniors sometimes have visions of graduation dancing through their heads!  The Class of 2008 Diploma List will be available in the Principal’s Office on October 17th.  Seniors need to sign the list with their name as they wish it to appear on their graduation diploma and in the program.  The list will be available through December 7th.

• Packets from Jostens containing order information for graduation announcements as well as caps and gowns will be handed out on October 12 at the Senior group picture at 9 a.m. in the south gym.  Extra packets are available by calling JOSTENS/Todd Crandall at 815-477-3588.  Jostens will be at PRHS October 16th & 17th in the front foyer during lunch hours to accept Graduation orders.

• Jostens is the official supplier for Prairie Ridge High School of commencement regalia.  Questions may be answered at:  (815) 477-3588  Todd Crandall or todd.crandall@jostens.com.

• On Tuesday, May 6th Todd Crandall from Jostens will be at Prairie Ridge in the front foyer to distribute cap and gown during lunch hours.

• Counselors are meeting with seniors to check credits for graduation requirements.  If a senior has not had a credit check conference, (s)he may do so by making an appointment with his/her counselor as soon as possible.  In order to participate in the graduation ceremony, seniors must complete all graduation requirements.

• Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) forms will be available on-line only from the Federal Government at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
