Before coming to Prairie Ridge, I worked for over 8 years in the corporate environment designing, developing and writing content for business websites. During evenings, I taught and directed high school theater students and realized that, like my parents, I was wired to teach. I'm thrilled to be working at this great school.

My family
Here's a picture taken during the 2008 summer break on our vacation to Ocean City, NJ -- a family vacation spot nearby my old hometown. Sitting by me are the true loves of my life, my wife Amber and my 2 1/2 year old daughter Makayla.

Favorite Quotes

"You never really know a person until you see things from his point of view...until you climb into his skin and walk around in it."

--Atticus to Scout in To Kill A Mockingbird

"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose."

--Jim Elliot

"My task which I am trying to achieve is, by the power of the written word, to make you hear, to make you feel -- it is, before all, to make you see. That -- and no more, and it is everything. If I succeed, you shall find there, according to your deserts, encouragement, consolation, fear, charm, all that demand -- and, perhaps, also that glimpse of truth for which you have forgotten to ask."
