UPCOMING PROJECT: The Catapult Project

This quarter you will be building a catapult (no larger than 2 feet in any dimension!) that will launch a candy pumpkin between 5 and 7 meters. You will be working in a group to find ordinary household materials that can successfully allow your pumpkin to land on target. You will launch at two target distances (somewhere between 5 and 7 meters) and the two distances will be announced on the launch day. We will go over all of the information on due dates, what is required, and the rubric during class.
