H1N1 Flu Vaccination Clinic Information
The H1N1 (swine) flu vaccine is available to the public through clinics, pharmacies, and primary care physicians. In partnership with the McHenry County Department of Health, Centegra will be administering vaccination clinics for District 155 students February 1-4. Two clinics will take place at D155 high schools after the regular school day concludes on February 2 (Cary-Grove) and February 4 (Crystal Lake Central), with two addtional clinics at Hannah Beardsley Middle School (February 1; for Prairie Ridge students) and Lundahl Middle School (February 3; for Crystal Lake South students). . . more vaccination clinic information or general H1N1 information & links (updated 1/21/10)
District 155 To Host December 15 Levy Hearing
Community High School District 155 will host a levy hearing during its December 15 Board of Education meeting. The adoption of a levy for 2009 is the first official step of the budget process for the 2010-2011 school year. Residents living in a $220,000 home—the median home value within District 155—can expect a tax increase of about $5 for the entire year. That represents an increase of less than one-half of one percent (.4%) . . . more.

EXPLORE Test Information for 8th graders planning to enroll in District 155 in 2010-2011
The first step of the high school placement process is the EXPLORE test. Taken by every 8th grade student planning to attend a District 155 school next year, the test identifies academic strengths and deficiencies, and ultimately helps place students in appropriate courses at the high school level. Cary-Grove High School students are actively seeking area residents in need of a helping hand for the school's annual Community Day. On the morning of Friday, October 23, students from the school will go into the Cary and Fox River Grove communities to provide services and assistance to elderly, disabled, and needy residents. Before competing in front of an audience of millions as a finalist on FOX's "American Idol" in 2002, Jim Verraros faced a more daunting crowd: his peers.
Verraros, a graduate of Crystal Lake South, competed along with ten of his classmates for the 2001 Mr. CLS title. Now in its twelfth year, the Mr. CLS pageant
showcases South's top senior boys for their outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements. The annual event will take place on Saturday, May 16 in the

District 155 has set the times for commencement ceremonies at all four high schools. All graduations will take place on Saturday, May 30.
