We will be participating in the IHSA Summer League this year.

The main purpose for the summer league is to for players to learn our system, their teammates, and for the coaches to get a look at you before next season.

We are handling the Summer Program a little different from years past. We are asking juniors (09) and seniors (08) to participate and we will invite a few sophomores to join. Those selections will be made by the coaching staff and our decisions will be based on performance from this past spring as well as what positions are needed to be filled.

We will be looking to have around 22-25 players on the team. ALL players that attend will play in the games. We understand that the players will not be able to make all games. We will put a roster for each game that will consist of about 15 players; therefore we will need to know all conflicts ahead of time so please check your summer schedule and write down any dates that you cannot attend. Please get these to me ASAP. If you are scheduled for a game and are unable to attend, you MUST find your own sub that plays a similar position. For example, we do not want infielders getting outfielders as replacements. A list of players and their phone numbers will be provided.

The schedule is posted below. The season consists of games on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Practices will be short and usually before the games, which will consist of BP, situational hitting, and fielding work. All games will start at 4:30 unless otherwise stated. Some games may change, but you will be notified ASAP.

The cost for the summer league will be $125 per player. This cost includes umpire fees, baseballs, pants, and uniform tops, which will be T-Shirts. We will not be having buses supplied for away games; therefore you will need to drive yourself or arrange rides with other players. Directions to fields will be posted on the website by the end of the school year. I will not know exact driving times so give yourself enough time to get to the schools. Due to construction and detours, travel times may be longer so leave with plenty of time to get to the field and warm up.
