Gator Pride

Gator Pride is a student leadership group at Crystal Lake South High School. The group is composed of 100 juniors and seniors who commit to improving our school and community by acting as positive role models, leading a healthy lifestyle, and serving as student leaders. These students represent all different types of people and organizations at South. Some are musicians or athletes; others are academically talented, while some are learning disabled. Their interests and talents are many and diverse. The purpose is to bring together these students to promote unity and service. The group meets at least twice monthly and plans a minimum of two major activities per quarter. The students must meet attendance standards and participation in activities is required.

The Gator Pride Pledge:

I will improve my school and community. I will be a positive role model in my actions, language, and choices. I will strive to make Crystal Lake South a great school for all who enter. This will be my legacy.
