Gator Link Crew

Link Crew is a freshmen transition program. Our goal is to make the transition from middle school to high school a smooth, successful event. The program has academic, social and peer interactions. The Link Leaders are juniors and seniors who have been recommended by the teachers at South.

During the 2008 - 2009 school year our Link Leaders are working directly with the freshmen in their Freshmen Seminar classes.  The Link leaders work directly with the teachers to assist in delivering lessons, planning and implimenting ice breakers as they assist the freshmen in making their first year at South a positive one.

Our annual Cookies and Cram will take place in early January.  The Cookies and Cram sessions are two exam review sessions.  Teachers and Link leaders will be available to help freshmen prepair for their first semester final exams.  The study session will be in the cafeteria from 3 p.m. until 7p.m.  As we get closer a detailed list of volunteering teachers will be posted.
