***I do have free periods 2nd, 5th, 6th, and 9th, but I also have the responsibility of being an Instructional Technology Leader to our faculty. This means I will often be around the building meeting with faculty members to help with technology issues during these times.

My Philosophy:
I believe in hard work. I believe that people in life need and want to have discipline and direction. I believe that we learn by doing. I believe that in life we learn incredibly more from our failures than we ever can from our success.
I grew up on a large dairy farm and, thus, realize what it means to truly work hard. I try to convey to my students that not only should they be thankful for what they have but they also have a responsiblity to try and improve. Kids today are every bit as impressionable as they have ever been. My responsiblities as a teacher lie in modeling these values, helping students learn to push through limitors, and finally, helping students learn to have accountability for their actions.
I try and build a relationship with every student. I feel I am truly lucky in that I get to work with tremendous young people each day. Crystal Lake Central is a wonderful place full of vibrant staff and kids who care about and take pride in their school. There is an atmosphere here of family--a family that I am extremely blessed to be a part of.
