Statement

After working with adults with disabilities for eleven years and studying special education at the graduate level, I am thrilled to be at Crystal Lake Central. I intend on using my past experiences and expertise to make an existing program even better.

I believe in setting high standards and helping students to reach those standards. In the end, I will feel successful if my students become more independent as a result of my classes.

I believe in lifelong learning. Receiving a diploma is like grabbing a baton in a relay race. I'd like to prepare my students to run well once they leave school.

Whether it's in my classes or in the speech club, I hope to instill in my students the love for learning that I now possess.
