These courses introduce the cognitive and mechanical concepts of team, individual, and rhythmical activities. The concepts of aerobic fitness and weights are also introduced. All students are required to take one semester of Health during the sophomore year. Semesters: 3

Curriculum content is intended to provide the principles and guidelines of mental health, human growth and development, drug use and abuse, human sexuality, personal health habits and dental hygiene, nutrition, diet and exercise, consumer health and health careers, prevention and control of diseases, human ecology and environmental health, first aid and disaster survival. This course is required for graduation. Semesters: 1

This coed course offers a combination of weight lifting and varied conditioning activities. Semesters: 1

This course offers aerobic conditioning activities; stretching and strengthening; and, cognitive concepts. Semesters: 1

This coed, creative dance course provides an opportunity to focus on performance skills. Students are required to participate in an evening recital in order to receive credit. Semesters: 1
Credit: 1/4 Level: 11, 12 OFF CAMPUS PHYSICAL EDUCATION
This coed course offers opportunities not available on campus. Representative activities include: golf, bowling, roller blading, frisbee golf, sand volleyball, indoor soccer, X-country skiing, canoeing, and ice skating. Fees are required. The class meets five periods per week: double periods two days a week and a single period one day a week. Semesters: 1 Prerequisites: C average in other PE Credit: 1/4 classes and Department Approval
