Course Description

Cooperative Education is an approach to learning that moves the classroom into the "real world of work."  This conbines learning experiences gained through on-the-job employment with vocationally related in-school instruction.  Cooperative education requires a team effort on the part of an employer, parents, and teacher-coordinator, and the student.  This team collaborates to accomplish mutally agreed upon goals.

All Cooperative Education courses are open to both college and non-college bound students.  Placement of students based on academic background, student needs, and the recommendation of the coordinator.

*The students earn two separate grades for their work in the classrom and their work on the job.
