WHEN YOU GO TO THE DRIVER LICENSE STATION TO GET YOUR PERMIT:

You must bring with you:

1. Application (signed by instructor)
2. Social security card
3. Certified birth certificate (from county court house)
4. Proof of Illinois resident

Be prepared to:

1. Take the Rules of the Road exam.
2. Take a vision exam
