What is Little Paw Preschool?

  • The focus of Little Paw Preschool is the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of the total child.  The primary reason for the development of this special class for the high school student is to learn as much as they possibly can from the young children. 

 

What are the requirements for participating in this program?

 

  • The child has to be three years old by the start of this preschool program.  (February 17, 2009)
  • The child has to be toilet trained.
  • The child should be socially developed so that he/she willingly separates without anxiety.

 

What sections of preschool are offered this year? 

  • We are offering two sections of preschool this year.
  • The morning session starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 11:20 a.m.
  • The afternoon section will start at 12:30 p.m. and end at 1:50 p.m.

***BOTH  SECTIONS  WILL  BE  ON  TUESDAYS  AND  THURSDAYS***

Goals for children in Little Paw Preschool

 

  • The high school students will assist the children in developing the following:
    • A positive self-concept.
    • Reading readiness and language skills.
    • Large and small motor skills.
    • Socialization and skills through play.
    • Formation of concepts about the world around us.

  • The cost of consumable materials for the semester is $85.00
